This is nonprofit community theater at its finest, including a sparkling array of flashy musicals, mysterious thrillers, delightful comedy and thought-provoking drama. Thespians work their craft on the stage of the Lancaster Performing Arts Center, which opened its doors in 1991. Special children's productions include such favorites as "The Miracle Worker," which tells the story of the young Helen Keller.
