Fondly nicknamed “The Dirty Bird” by locals, the Sandpiper is Laguna Beach's oldest and most adored party shack. The bar’s "come as you are" atmosphere embraces everyone from the sun-kissed seaside residents to tourists off the street. Family-owned since the 1940’s, brothers Chuck and Chip Harrell are the latest generation to manage this beloved dingy dive and they keep the momentum going with live music (including weekly reggae and punk rock) every night of the year.
