Times Description

Pronounce “Huntington Beach” in Italian and it will sound something like “Lucci’s.” This one-stop bakery, market, deli, restaurant and caterer is Surf City’s destination for all the saucy flavors of the Mediterranean.  Have your classic pasta fix any time of day. Single portions and the four-person bucket of spaghetti are available on demand.  Hot and cold sandwiches and salads are also served all day. Sit down and join the office refugees for lunch or take it to go. Dinner includes pasta with soup or salad, plus nightly specials ranging from beef stroganoff to grilled mahi mahi. Get all your home-cooking Italian ingredients in the market, pick up some savory meats from the deli and sweeten the deal in the bakery.

Bagelmania is right there in the parking lot, Li’s Chinese Restaurant is around the corner and Zubies Dry Dock and Don Jose’s Mexican Restaurant are across the street. Drive just a bit more for Flight Bistro and Social Lounge, a classy new nightspot.

Tips: Spend some time looking closely at the market goods and you’ll find imported bottled sodas on the shelves, homemade pasta in the freezer case and other offbeat discoveries.

Really, I just can't believe the glowing reviews for this place. The only thing Italian here is the name Lucci's. A friend recommended it to me and said it...

I love Lucci's. Their food is tasty, freshly-made, and reasonably priced. The one down side to it being small is that the will sometimes run out of items...
