Whether it's the rich decor or the homemade pasta dripping with decadent sauces, the Old Spaghetti Factory remains a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
Stepping through the Factory door is like crossing a portal into the Victorian Age of lavish design and brilliant attention to detail. Overstuffed sofas and dark-wood chairs covered with rich, deep hues sit in a series of chambers that allow guests to get cozy for the worthwhile wait -- especially on the weekends. Old World paintings hang on the dark walls and elegant crystal chandeliers illuminate the stately dining halls. Although the decor is formal, the service and atmosphere are casual and fun for the whole family.
The menu is traditional Italian suited for everyone. House specialties range from baked lasagna made from scratch and smothered in cheese and authentic tomato sauce to chicken Marsala sauteed with fresh mushrooms and served with a side of pasta. Macaroni and cheese is always available if the little ones aren't ready for a red sauce.
A variety of reasonably priced wines are offered to complement any meal.
