Hollywood’s renovated Hillview apartments overflow with cool cache as Viper Room owner Steve Adelman’s bistro Lift fulfills its promise of staying open late night. Initially promising to serve food 22 hours a day, the eatery has scaled back hours with doors closing now at 4 a.m. Located above Adelman’s nightclub 86, Lift features a health-conscious menu in a casual setting. “The idea was to base our food on how people are eating these days,” says Adelman. “So you’ll find a lot of fresh farm ingredients in inventive dishes like oatmeal crème brulee and green tomato gazpacho.” Lift also offers a variety of nutrient-rich smoothies and gourmet grilled cheeses that are sure to satisfy even the most monstrous late night appetites.
