Know something we don't?
Bowery owner George Abou-Daoud must have a hankering for New York, because this is the second West Village-style pub he's opened in Hollywood. Delancey features vintage New York touches like a pressed tin ceiling and a brick facade, but the menu is where Delancey really shines.Appetizers include calamari, tuna tartar, carpaccio, pizza and more. But Delancey also serves an impressive array of high-end cheeses and homemade pasta dishes (gnocchi, spaghetti, etc.). The full bar includes nearly 20 wines and 20 beers on tap (Widmer, Fat Tire, Long Hammer IPA, Boddingtons, Stella Artois, Guinness and Rogue Amber, to name a few).
Delancey opens on the evening of April 25, 2008 at 6 p.m. Following that they'll be opening at 5 p.m. for a week, perhaps longer, until they schedule regular hours, at which point they'll open midday for lunch.
