In its West Coast premiere, lyricist Mark Campbell's intimate solo musical about a gay urban romantic, created with 18 composers, is rather more acerbic and accessible than deep or lingering. Yet director Patrick Pearson rumples the sheets with fetching élan, and actor Dave Barrus makes a suavely engaging protagonist.
