Boasting 20,000 square feet of space, Vanguard rivals other Hollywood dance halls in size and prestige. Home to techno and house music mainstays Giant (Saturday night) and DJ Marques Wyatt’s Deep (Sunday night), the warehouse venue has a lock on electronica in L.A. Though there is an upper-level with an outdoor patio and a VIP lounge that serves food, the majority of clubgoers can be found in the main room, a hangar-like space that’s peppered with booths and tables. Dancing is practically mandatory at Vanguard, so wear comfortable shoes and lose yourself in one of the venue’s fancy light shows. Vanguard was recently voted one of the world's top venues for club music by djmag.com in their annual poll. The Hollywood Blvd. destination comes in at #36 out of 100.
