Whether you go during the day or in the evening, Tropicana Bar is a glamorous destination for a cocktail. The swimming pool is undoubtedly the focal point of the area; if you decide to swim in it, look down to check out the David Hockney mural at the bottom. Surrounding the pool are lush palm trees and comfy chaise lounges for starlets to rest their manicured toes. During chillier nights, firepits light up the back area, which is also outfitted with low tables and couches. Thursday night features a DJ and is favored by young fashionable scenesters, but every night is open for swimming and imbibing on the bar’s tasty (albeit expensive) concoctions.
