About
A mid-size, two-story Cuban-themed dance club featuring a rotating cast of djs (mostly hip-hip, house and variants) that pulls in a notorious "party" crowd. Watch out for expensive drinks and a crowd that often embodies every Hollywood stereotype: plastered, wanna-be actresses and the Drakar Noir-drenched men (hello Tony Montana!) who help keep them standing.
Still, good times can be had at Nacional--you just have to know which nights are the best to hit the venue (we like Wednesday nights here ).
One of the best nights here, however, remains the long-running Monday engagment, Monday Night Social. Name Djs from around the would (like England's Lee Coombs) frequently play MNS, even though lately the line-ups have been less-than-stellar.
Bonus for smokers: a large upstairs patio is a Marlboro Man's delight. You may feel like you are still inside the club, but really, you are outdoors. Smoke 'em if you got 'em, pardner.
