Whether you’re in the mood to be whisked away to an exotic locale or not, Mood seeks to take you to one—Bali, to be exact. From its enormous stone columns and Balinese hand-carved front door to the Buddha statues and tranquil back candle wall, Mood’s décor conjures a temple vibe. What goes on between the walls, however, may not be quite as serene. Scantily clad go-go dancers are known to take the stage frequently and the weekly promoters range from L.A. party boy BoJesse Christopher (Saturday nights) to urban nightlife kingpins Icon Entertainment (Sunday nights). A line often builds, so getting there early, reserving a table or arriving with an armful of beautiful women is strongly suggested.
