The only thing I have to say about this club is this: I had a lovely custom whiskey-flask confiscated here even though it was completely empty (it was left over in my man-purse from a party the night before). I asked the bouncer if I could get it back after the show, and they said yes. After the show, and after waiting for an hour to find a manager, they said they had instead decided to keep it. Whatever. Between indie rock shows, they play house music on weekends and have a recurring Mexican rock night, and I guess it's in a prime location amidst the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, but if you come across a sweet silver flask with an engraved elephant on it, tell them the Guide never forgets. Try Powerhouse or Tiny's instead. The saving grace: approximately once per month, King King plays host to Mortified - Live!, the shameless sharing of our most shameful moments.
