If you’re lucky enough to gain entrance past its soon-to-be-infamous front door, Green Door will take your breath away. Not only does the décor exemplify early-century Parisian elegance—velvet couches, ornate chandeliers and fixtures, framed watercolor portraits—its patrons are also fabulously adorned in their best. Men are often decked in suits, ties and vests; women sport the season’s latest dress shape and towering heels. Its former incarnations, Sideways Lounge and Sterling Steakhouse, were short-lived, but judging from its exclusive door policy and the gasp factor once inside, this concept has a shot at becoming a classic. Dinner or table reservations are the best bet to gaining entry (the food, by the way, consists of crepes and French-Asian tapas). Otherwise, look sophisticated and befriend the doormen.
Last Friday went to Green Door, the Matt's got us in with MnM's list they took good care of us, have to say we haven't had that much fun in a long time. If you go look for them they're a blast. MnM's List - D

I actually found the misterious singer. His name is Steve Cooke and he is performing at the Foundation room/House of Blues on the 21st Sept. I also saw another band there the other day which was great.
It sounds like the guy was actor Ryan Gosling.
Hi, I went to the Green door on Tuesday and saw some great entertainment. The Jazz band was super cool, but something happened at around 2am which reminded of the 60s and the Doors. A blond guy got up (he looked like a cross between Robert Plant and Jim Morrison)...
