Falcon opened during Hollywood’s supper clubs surge in 2002 and it’s still packing them in -- thanks mostly to their Tuesday gay night, “Beige.” The Dodd Mitchell-designed space is modern, chic and lends itself well to people-watching. The inside booths get full views of the front lounge area, which usually fills up quickly. Those requiring more attention only need to turn a corner and walk down an exposed flight of stairs; those perched outside will undoubtedly watch each person making their entrance. Most of the socializing (read: flirting) takes place on the patio, so if you’re not a smoker, reserving an outside table for dinner may not be a good idea. If dinner at Falcon is in your future, the crisp goat cheese salad and the pizza counterbalance their specialty drinks well.
