Know something we don't?
Segregated from the hubbub of Pier Avenue by a good 10-minute stroll but just a block off the beach, The Bottle Inn is an upscale Italian restaurant that prides itself on having the longest and most celebrated wine list in the South Bay. Established in 1974, the subtly elegant family-owned spot has been quite a hit with locals who like to sip a glass of pinot noir with their Risotto Al Filetto, Tortellini Alla Panna or Spaghettini Con Scampi, just three of the $17 to $23 plates of pasta on the restaurant’s extensive menu. Call ahead to reserve a table for lunch, dinner, or to join one of the Bottle Inn’s signature four-course fixed-menu dinners, which always include a multi-flight wine tasting sponsored by a well-regarded California vineyard.
