Bobo's China Bistro

A modest-looking spot tucked beneath (and seemingly between) the sprawling Banzai Beach, Bobo’s China Bistro is the kind of place you could blink and miss from the street. But like the tardis in the legendary BBC series “Dr. Who,” Bobo’s is far larger and more pleasantly appointed than it appears to be on the outside. But the bright, clean, Mexican-tiled and bamboo plant-decorated room isn’t the only amenity, of course. The menu includes a generous sampling of popular Asian fare, including Chinese staples such as Kung Pao chicken, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Moo Shu pork or chicken—from $7.95 to $8.95—as well as Vietnamese Pho noodle soup, Korean BBQ beef, and Hawaiian skewers of beef, chicken and shrimp over rice. The bar also offers a pleasant mélange, serving not only fruit smoothies, coffees and soft drinks but also beer for $3, wine for $5, and sake for $7.50.
