Know something we don't?
One of the nation's largest urban parks (nearly five times larger than Central Park), Griffith Park occupies 4,107 acres in the Santa Monica Mountains. The vast grounds include the Los Angeles Zoo, the Autry Museum of Western Heritage, the Greek Theatre, Travel Town Museum, Griffith Observatory, a merry-go-round, golf courses, horse rentals, train rides and more than 53 miles of bridle and hiking trails. There's also plenty of room for barbecuing, picnicking and lolling around.
