Times Description

Drawing tourists, locals and late night bar crawlers, this Fairfax district classic is known for its New York deli fare (especially the corned beef and pastrami sandwiches), but it's biggest advantage is that it stays open 24/7. Don't feel like chowing down on huge, heavy meal of starch and meat? Pop in to the Kibitz Room, a slightly divey but quite charming lounge that's adjacent to the restaurant.

Although sometimes there can be a wait, the food is good and cheap. And, this is my absolute favorite place to take my parents when they visit. They love it.

I have given up on Cater's because their prices are just too high. They make money hand over fist here, yet they charge $9 or more for a cheese omelet? please...I'm going to swingers instead.

I ordered a Canter's Reuben with corned beef. It was gigantic, delicious, and beefy. I spread thousand island dressing all over it, making it even more...
