A visit to this La Brea Avenue venue always offers something to see and usually adds in a comprehensive lesson in 20th-century art history as well. The artists range from classical modernists to the more contemporary. From Beckmann to Basquiat, Jack Rutberg offers artists of great import. Other big names exhibited here include Hans Burkhardt, Henry Moore, Robert Rauschenberg, Alexander Calder and Frank Stella. Aside from painting and sculpture, the gallery also has a wide selection of prints.
