Donkey Kong champion Steve Wiebe -- you may remember him from such movies as "The King of Kong" -- headlines Twiistup 4, an occasional meet-and-greet that brings together media and entertainment types with would-be tech billionaires in a heady atmosphere of cocktails and desperation.
Wiebe, the underdog hero who defeated sinister, mullet-wearing Billy Mitchell in the 2007 documentary "The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters," will be competing for the highest score of record at the Twiistup 4 arcade. Put your vintage video game skills to the test as you learn important life lessons from the cruel mistress that is Donkey Kong.
Twiistup 4, which will be held poolside at the Viceroy Hotel, will feature a room of 1980s arcade games complete with games such as Donkey Kong, Ms. Pacman, Centipede and Space Invaders.
Tickets are currently sold out, but a waiting list is available at www.twiistup.com/getin.
