Ocean Adventures

Who says learning about conservation can't be fun? Young visitors to this fall's special exhibit, Ocean Adventures, will take on the role of conservationists and come to the aid of sharks, seals, sea lions, dolphins, whales, and a variety of other marine species in danger.  After receiving their top secret directives at the Mission Command Center, OAR agents will don scuba gear and journey through the wonders of the coral reef, the intrigue of the kelp forest, and the darkest depths of the deep sea trenches.  As they learn what marine life needs to survive and how it is threatened by pollution, over-fishing, loss of habitat, and other human factors, exhibit visitors will appreciate the importance of protecting our oceans and realize that we can all do our part to make a difference.
