In conjunction with the current exhibition "Between Earth and Heaven: The Architecture of John Lautner" (at the Hammer through October 12), the MAK Center for Art + Architecture presents four "Lautner House Tours," with anywhere from one to three of Lautner's Southern California projects being shown on a given tour.
July 27: The Harpel Residence (1956), The Tyler Residence (1953), and The Schwimmer Residence (1982)
August 24: Sheats/Goldstein Residence (1963)
September 14: The Jacobsen Residence (1947), The Harvey Residence (1950), and The Reiner/Burchill Residence - also known as Silvertop (1963)
October 12: Sheats/Goldstein Residence (1963)
Ticket price includes admission to the exhibition and discounted parking. Space is limited. Register online for tours.
