Trying to sidestep the controversy of his Oprah-attacked memoir, James Frey returns with a novel entitled "Bright Shiny Morning." Vroman's and Book Soup are co-sponsoring the event, which will also feature author Josh Kilmer-Purcell and the rock band Black Tide. Perhaps this time around, the scandal will be that Frey's "novel" is actually an autobiography.
