This multi-media celebration of children's literature features author readings, storytelling sessions, book-related arts and crafts workshops, games and family music from Guitar Sallye's Nu Family Band. Children's authors Kadir Nelson, David G. brown and Max Benavidez read from their latest books; The Sunshine Storytellers -- featuring Ina Buckner Barnett -- share animal folk tales; arts workshops include lessons in bookmark making, cartooning and fancy paper making. Free tours and games are available in the gallery from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
