The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles presents its annual tribute to the Roaring 20s with a formal dance set to the live music of a Dean Mora's Modern Rhythmists. Maxwell DeMille (of the Cicada Club) serves as emcee, while flappers dance The Lindy Hop, Jitterbug, Balboa, Charleston, Tango, Foxtrot and Waltz against the scenic backdrop of the Avalon Casino Ballroom. The event usually sells out, so it's a good idea to buy tickets in advance.
