For one 12-hour extravaganza you can experience Glow, Santa Monica's dusk-to-dawn festival of mixed media and overnight art instillations. For the first time, SASSAS (the Society for the Activation of Social Space through Art) joins forces with DJ collective dublab to stage Tonalism at Glow, a collaborative concert featuring performances by musicians Albert Ortega, Steve Roden, Unrecognizable Now and White Rainbow; video by Jessica Bronson, Cal Crawford, Carole Kim and Matt Sheridan; and beats by dublab DJs Ale, Katie Byron, Sam Cooper, Frosty, Hoseh, Carlos Nino and Jimmy Tamborello as well as Part Time Punks DJ Michael Stock.
Guests are encouraged to bring pillows, cushions or sleeping bags and camp out in the Looff Hippodrome carousel building, so they can enjoy the musical experience from sunset to sunrise.
In addition to the Santa Monica Pier, the festivities will also take place at the following locations:
Carousel at Santa Monica Pier
Ferris Wheel at Pacific Park, Palisades Park, Santa Monica
Muscle Beach, in front of Loews Hotel at Appian Way
Ocean Avenue at Colorado Blvd
Santa Monica Beach
