Brothers Adam and Josef Bray-Ali opened this quaint Highland Park bike shop in August 2008, hoping to make those vintage-looking, single-speed cruising bicycles as ubiquitous on the streets of Los Angeles as they are on the streets of Beijing. Each Sunday morning, the intrepid duo leads a group ride to a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown or the San Gabriel Valley for dim sum.
*NOTE: The Bray brothers are closing their retail shop in mid-January 2009 and moving the business to their garage in Alhambra. After Jan. 18, the Get Sum Dim Sum ride will begin at the Pasadena Gold Line station. And despite the name, the destination won't always be a dim sum restaurant, though it will usually be a Chinese restaurant.
