The ultimate Labor Day barbecue

Know something we don't?
Open since February 2005, the Colorado Wine Company enjoys a loyal following among wine novices, wine experts and fans of a good night out alike. The reason isn't tied to a gimmick or a trend, it's the simple philosophy advanced by former Brooklynite co-owners John and Jen Nugent: Wine isn't something only to be enjoyed at fine restaurants or by those in a higher tax bracket. Most bottles are unique to the store and retail for under $25, and the friendly, conversational customer service won't make you feel like you're asking the clerk at Amoeba about Billy Joel when you wonder what wine would be best paired with a pork barbecue. And with a cozy bar in the back open daily for wines by the glass, CoWineCo has become a regular destination for East and Westsiders alike. Newly expanded hours and themed tastings keep the shop hopping through the weekend as well. Cheers.
