Pitfire Pizza Company

Located on the ground floor of the renovated Higgins Building, Pitfire Pizza's bustling lunch scene counters the myth of downtown as abandoned wasteland. The mid-day crowd rarely leaves a vacant table and the din of chatting co-workers can make intimate conversation nearly impossible. Pitfire pumps out pizzas, pastas and paninis, but the menu also includes an array of health-conscious salads and seasonal specialties. A long communal table dominates the high-ceilinged dining room, which also features booths lining the walls. Additional seating is available upstairs in a spacious, albeit poorly lit, annex.
