Times Description

This old school chop suey joint draws fans far and wide -- including Tommy Lasorda -- to its assortment of traditional Chinese-American dishes. Not Chinese food, Chinese-American food: sweet and sour pork swimming in red good, greasy noodles, cha shu (barbecued pork), chow mein, heavily breaded and fried chicken, etc. This divey, nieghborhood joint keeps dishing up the Chinese, diner-style food here and at its Monterey Park location.
