Know something we don't?
As we wallow in our current economic misery, celebrate the Roaring 20s, the decade of flappers, Prohibition, speakeasies, jazz and loosening social morals that predated the Great Depression. And what better backdrop than the stunning Oviatt Building? Built in 1928, this art deco gem features a lobby with 30 tons of decorative glass personally designed and installed by Rene Lalique. The opulence continues throughout the building with stunning hardwood floors, Italian Romanesque flourishes and a lavish two-story penthouse with a rooftop terrace.
