Know something we don't?
The name says it all: This monstrous destination for drinking, eating and sports-watching adds a whole new level to sports mania in L.A. For sports lovers of all types and ages ESPN Zone is an all-encompassing sports dining and entertainment mecca where guests are immersed in a total sports experience. The concept is built on the broad appeal of ESPN and its affiliated brands. This is the best spot to see the big game (and take in a few brews) before the Lakers and Kings game at Staples center. Expect 7,000 + square feet (on two levels) of interactive games and attractions in addition to the usual rows of flat screen wall-mounted TV sets. And this particular location, opened in late 2008, offers up state of the art broadcast facilities so you never know which announcers (and sports stars) might be in the "zone."
Tip: try parking at a meter (free after 6 p.m.) a few blocks away near Flower and 11th St. It's worth the walk as parking at L.A. Live can set you back $20 or more. Surrounding lots varry in price.
