After sunset, Broadway Bar’s blue neon sign acts as a beacon among the nearby boarded-up theaters, quinceanera dress shops and discount sneaker stores. Inside, the bar is a throwback to your grandparents’ heyday--that is, if they happen to be of the Miami Beach-living, Cadillac-driving, martini-sipping variety. The brainchild of entrepreneur Cedd Moses (of Golden Gopher and Seven Grand fame), the Broadway Bar unfurls around a sleek circular bar well-stocked with top-shelf liquors. The lounge features baroque wallpaper, ornate light fixtures and small clusters of comfy couches while outside a smoky second story balcony overlooks the neon-bathed noir of Broadway’s after-hours street life.
