Times Description

Yes, chef Benjamin Ford is the son of Hollywood royalty Harrison Ford, and it’s not unlikely to see him there on a weekend, but don’t go to the Filling Station for that. Go for the terrific pub burger and other standouts on his menu. Polenta cake with pearl onions and truffle mascarpone cheese. White shrimp flatbread. Cocktails named after the Great Gatsby (a big stiff gin and lime with soda)—this local gastropub slash trendy scene mixes a warming hearth, exposed brick walls, concrete floors, defunct piano and loudish classic rock. As for the food—lamb sirloin medallions melt in the mouth, the slightly sweet bulgur and quinoa gently complements and an arty presentation hides large portions.
