Know something we don't?

Craft, the first L.A. restaurant from New York's Tom Colicchio, swaggered into town in July -- on Friday the 13th to be precise -- and...
“Top Chef” host Tom Colicchio has bestowed Century City with a dining experience worthy of its top-tier expense accounts. Housed in a one-story building in the breezeway between a quartet of high rises whose occupants include such heavy hitters as CAA, Craft is an ideal place to strike a deal over a power lunch or forget that the market just nosedived, again. The elegant oasis boasts a stunning dining room with filament bulbs suspended over olive and black banquets and a breezy patio with couch seating in private cabanas.
Mohawked chef de cuisine Matthew Accarrino mans the stoves, turning out an ever-rotating selection of proteins and side dishes meant to be shared. You might find the likes of beef short ribs with root vegetables, braised rabbit tortellini and sage, or crispy pig’s head terrine with housemade pickles. Pastry chef Catherine Schimenti oversees pastry, with treats like lemon thyme glazed donuts, a peanut butter cup, and housemade ice cream in flavors such as maple bacon. But don’t get too attached to a favorite dish—chances are by the next time you come here, it will already be gone.
TIPS: The lounge menu is available 5 p.m.-6 p.m. Mon.-Fri. On Sundays, there is no corkage fee for up to two bottles of wine. A private room, with a capacity of 48, comes with its own cabana, sound system, and art display. After 5 p.m., parking in the self-parking structure is free with validation.

Tom Colicchio, of Top Chef, did a great job with his restaurant. Although I would not recommend the tasting menu and the wine pairings, the food is really A+. Enjoy.
