For all you Vedder heads out there who missed the first show in his first ever solo tour last night* in Vancouver (uh, Vancouver? Not quite the first-ever solo show: Eddie played at All Tomorrows Parties, right here in LA, a few years ago (when Sonic Youth curated.) If memory served, he played mostly ukelele and was accompanied by a young surfer he’d met earlier in the week.
Are you guys gonna keep publishing setlists? That’s great, but I think what this column needs is some guitar tabs.
Ed also played a solo show at the RIAA show back in 2001 and the 2004 Tsunami benefit with Tenacious D back in 2005. Though neither of these shows were “solo” tours
