Know something we don't?
There is all you can eat, and then there is the churrascaria. The Brazilian concept, which amounts to an endless parade of meats, takes carnivorous pursuits to an entirely different level. This location in Beverly Hills is one in a chain that began in 1979 in Porto Alegre, Brazil, the country’s churrascaria capital. Beyond the carne – 15 kinds, including chicken thighs wrapped in bacon, filet mignon, beef ribs, leg of lamb – regularly and lovingly proffered to you by waiters dressed in gaucho pants, there is the freshly baked bread basket and a big, beautiful salad bar. And only you can stop it; that’s what the chip on your table is for (green means go, red means stop). Assuredly you will not leave hungry, or perhaps even upright. What’s more, there is no ordering, no preparation time and no threat that you’re favorite dish is unavailable, so it’s quite an easy option for dining out – perfect for large groups and those pressed for time.
TIPS: It’s $54.50 per person, and when you think of all the food you get, it’s a pretty good value. Children five and under eat for free and those ages six to 10 are charged half price. If they can stomach the scene, vegetarians can cruise the buffet for $24.50. The valet is shared by neighboring Gyu-Kaku, so expect a wait, or avoid the line altogether by finding street parking (it is possible).
