About
A real bar's bar.
Popular Drinks: Full bar; Beers on tap include Sierra Nevada, Guinness, Hefeweizen and more; classic cocktails.
Food: Food is available from Coco Reno's (the best taco joint in Long Beach!).
Seating: Stools at bar, four booths.
Ambience: Worlds collide in slow motion at the Reno Room in Long Beach. Sandwiched between gay and lesbian establishments, the barflies at Reno Room are predominantly straight. Local flavor seeps out the door in a blue fog of smoke (just outside the entrance), the heavy aroma of Mexican dinners from Coco Reno's and the universal scent of cleaned-up blue-collar bad boys.
Extras/Notes: This is a real bar's bar. The bartenders are mostly female and match the decor. The CD jukebox plays anything from Sublime to old-school metal. There is usually room to sit down and take it all in. The two pool tables are busy on weekends, but take a shot on a weeknight. Waitresses from Coco Reno's bring food to the bar upon order. It really doesn't get any better than that.
Parking: Free lot behind bar.
