Hollywood's alternative venue for the twentysomething set, Play, underwent a minor rennovation in early 2008.  Owners Gianni Capaldi and Brad Hoss re-opened the Yucca Street bar Jan. 8, after nearly a month of remodeling. "We redid the floors, the sound system, the lighting system and more," says Capaldi, a 33-year-old Scotsman. The 300-capacity venue now features a candle-lighted and covered back patio and a small dance floor.  The crowd here tends to be younger and more laid-vack than some of the larger, trendier bars in the area.  Still, some may feel let down by the size of the spot, and the legendary lack of parking at the small club.  Regardless, you'll probably end up meeting someone good-looking here who is up for a dance, a drink and quite possibly more if you "play" your cards right.
