Home to everything from up-and-coming rock acts to Latin music festivals to a good old-fashioned hard-core punk show, the Hollywood Palladium is one of the premier concert venues in Los Angeles. With its nicely restored Art Deco look, one can hear live music reverberate forever and remember that not every Los Angeles building with historical value has been razed. Just be sure to arrive early; the security checkpoint at the door is legendarily thorough -- down to the ridiculousness of making sure that the name on your bottle of prescription meds matches the name on your I.D.
