A British pub so legitimate that British people actually frequent it, Woodland Hills’ White Harte Pub is also popular with everyone from the just-turned-21 crowd to the middle-aged happy hour set. With its exposed red brick, dark-wood beams and antler chandeliers, the atmosphere is cozy yet always party-inducing. The front patio caters to cocktail sipping and relaxing, while the back patio fills with smokers and fans of football – American and British – which is consistently shown on the TVs.
The sister pub of The Fox and Hounds in Studio City, White Harte has plenty of entertainment other than sports: live music on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons, trivia on Tuesdays, karaoke on Wednesdays, darts and a foosball table. The menu consists of standard pub fare -- think fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. On weekdays from 4 to 7 p.m., draught beers are only $3.25.
