Nestled between a seedy hotel and a gas station, The Bar has no signage aside from the address—those who seek and find it are deemed cool enough to enter. The space is small, but always filled with a hip, laid-back crowd that enjoys the low-key vibe and blaring rock music. The atmosphere is dim; the dark wood furnishings and leather banquettes give it a vintage feel. Sunday nights belong to Down the Rabbit Hole, a night for board games and showcasing local artists. In-the-know hipsters favor Monday nights, but The Bar is great for a drink just about any night of the week.
