The main reason to come to this simple microbrewery is, of course, for the beer. Its diverse selection of brews are handcrafted in the large tanks behind the bar (try the Manhattan Beach Blonde). .
The brew list changes with the season, so check the boards. As you lap up your lager or Long Island Iced Tea (there's also a full bar), look over the 85-item menu for anything from Thai salad to a nice, juicy cheeseburger.
There's also a big-screen TV and three smaller sets, all usually tuned in to sports and news.
With its near-perfect beachfront location and nearby parking, the MBBC has become a favorite stop for visitors and locals alike who are in search of an original brew.
