Right next door to its namesake restaurant, Club Tee Yee is nestled among the burgeoning businesses supported by hipster Eastsiders, including the Beastie Boys' Grand Royal headquarters and the fabulous Out-of-the-Closet Thrift Store. The dark paneled walls with no windows, but a perpetually open back door, glittery ceiling and leatherette booths are perfect for casual drinks and socializing. The CD jukebox offers a fine selection that includes Patsy Cline. Need we say more?
The working class locals who populate this establishment are friendly, and they have a jukebox pool where everyone contributes and then take turns making the selections.
