About
The Craft and Folk Art Museum was launched in 1965 by Edith Wyle as the Egg and the Eye, a restaurant and crafts shop. The private institution that closed under financial duress at the end of 1997 reopened in 1998. It features handicrafts and works from artisans around the world.
Notable past exhibitions include "Eva Zeisel: Extraordinary Designer at 100," "Homeland: Visions of Armenia," "An American Love Story: Works by Ramona Otto."
