Holiday Gift Fairs & Sales in L.A.
A list of some of the many gift fairs, craft festivals and sales happening this holiday season.
Get revved up for the gift-giving season with the Ghettogloss-sponsored Silverlake Craft Fair. From vintage clothing to pet couture and tarot readings (don't forget about the plants, too!) there's more than enough to fill two whole days every weekend from Nov. 15 through Dec. 21. There's certainly some unintentional irony in their Citibank parking lot location, and perhaps a big thumbing-of-the-nose to capitalism in general. But then again, maybe not—we tend to see outlandish significance when we should be busy doing other things. (Sat. & Sun., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)
Enter the winter wonderland of the annual Sawdust Winter Fantasy held over four weekends in November and December. A new tradition is the ArtisTree Ornament Fundraiser that benefits the Sawdust Art Education Fund and features one-of-a-kind ornaments created by artists.
